Tasked with solving pine pitch build-up issues at the Sartell Paper Mill, he engineered a valve with a segmented plug and eccentric closure action—an innovation that quickly gained wide recognition. Since then, DeZURIK has been a trusted manufacturer, providing isolation and control valve solutions for everything from abrasive Kaolin clay slurries to recycled materials. Today, DeZURIK manufactures valves for basis weight control, paper stock, liquor, steam, dilution water control and others for pulp and paper mills worldwide.
